Former UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, one of the most prolific fighters of the era, isn’t afraid to go inside the squared circle against elite boxers, including the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. However, he has claimed that he would look to avoid a scrap against former champion, Mike Tyson.
Although Tyson is 54, and far from being an active athlete, Miocic still avoided accepting a challenge against him. It appeared to be his respect towards ‘Iron’ Mike, but as per the UFC fighter, Mike Tyson still appears to remain in his prime and is nowhere near his fighting radar.

Mike Tyson’s return to action has urged several fighters to come out of retirement and appear in exhibition bouts. Meanwhile, crossover fights between MMA fighters and boxers have also been on the rise. That said, Miocic can possibly lace up the boxing gloves, citing another blockbuster crossover for the fans.
However, there are still no developments to the idea and it will be a wait-and-watch scenario if the UFC fighter gets lured by a lucrative ‘Legends Only League’ deal.
Stipe Miocic- How good of a boxer he is?
Miocic appears to be one of the rare fighters, who possesses tremendous skill on the feet and on the ground. His fight with Francis Ngannou showed that he can take a punch and trade equally well. However, he would have to be careful of rushing in as he did at UFC 260.
