Francis Ngannou moving out of the UFC had some big repercussions. Ciryl Gane got the opportunity to get his hand on the UFC gold, going against Jon Jones. He, however, may not have been able to use that opportunity much, but Jon Jones used it to the fullest. ‘Bones’ was originally supposed to take on Francis Ngannou on his comeback, which was speculated to be a more even fight that never happened.
While fans and experts may have mixed views about Ngannou‘s move, it appears now that he may be moving into boxing. Recently, former boxing lightweight interim champion Ryan Garcia has expressed his views on the ‘Predator’s move.

Ryan Garcia, who is set to fight Gervonta Davis in a much-anticipated fight, was talking to UFC rising star Paddy Pimblett. ‘The Baddy’ was hosting ‘Kingry’ on his chat show called ‘Paddy’s Chattin’ Pony podcast’.
The duo talked about a lot of topics, including MMA and boxing. According to Garcia, the former UFC heavyweight champ won’t find it easy when he gets into boxing.
Ryan Garcia on Francis Ngannou’s move to Boxing
Paddy Pimblett asked Ryan Garcia about the Cameroonian’s transition to boxing after his UFC exit despite being the champion. ‘The Baddy’s question drew a very direct answer from the 24-year-old. He said, “I mean that’s gonna be like I said hard for anybody he’s just getting into a new sport vice versa boxing you know somebody going into MMA you know it’s gonna be tough yeah so I think it’s gonna be tough for him um I know he’s a one-of-a-kind athlete obviously that’s why he has the opportunity to go in there.”
While Garcia certainly had some respect for Francis Ngannou. He didn’t shy away from pointing out how different the two sports were. ‘Kingry’ was certain that the difference in rules and techniques will definitely make it difficult for ‘The Predator’ to adjust to boxing. He added, “you know, get a fight with some of the biggest Fighters; but um, like I said, these are two different sports. Yeah, um, if you don’t understand the little aspects of it, you’re gonna be in trouble if you think you’re just gonna land a punch on anybody don’t work like that, you know.”

Francis Ngannou may never get back to UFC
Francis Ngannou is a free agent now. While there is little known about his next career move, it is expected that he will look to get his boxing debut. When the former heavyweight champ moved away from the UFC, it came as a shock for fans. Reports suggested that the move was not about money.

Ngannou had probably moved because of his contract regulations. The exit, however, rubbed UFC president Dana White the wrong way. He recently issued a statement where he said that Francis Ngannou will not be allowed to get back to the UFC.
