In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Georges St-Pierre talked about paychecks for both fighters and how a fight between these two individuals would play out. This is what the ‘GSP‘ had to say regarding this topic.

I think he deserved it. He deserved that kind of money. Millions of dollars but, deep down, inside, because he’s such an incredible talent in MMA, I’m afraid that if he goes to boxing, against Tyson Fury, yes, he’s gonna make one shot with a lot of money, but it’s not, he’s a specialist of mixed martial art.”

He continued, “Tyson Fury has at box all his life, so I would, the odds will go towards Tyson Fury in a boxing match. Of course, in an MMA fight, they will never fight in MMA because Francis will crush him under 30 seconds.”

But I’m just afraid that if you step into boxing maybe, he’s gonna get, you know, that the punch and stuff sometimes he can change. It, he can break a career. You know what I mean? So if I would be him, I would tend to fight in MMA as long as I am not tired of doing it. And when he’s at the end of his career, what if you want to do a boxing fight? Why not? But it’s up to him, you know?” – said ‘Rush.’

However, he gave Ngannou the benefit of the doubt. GSP believes that if it were to come to it, the chances are that Ngannou could knock Fury out as well.
