JRE podcast host Joe Rogan recently challenged scientist Professor Peter Hotez in a debate against presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. regarding vaccines. They exchanged a lot of words on Twitter. However, billionaire Mark Cuban joined the conversation and slammed Rogan for making derogatory remarks about the pharmaceutical industry.

Prof. Hotez raised his concern regarding the vaccine misinformation emerging from Rogan’s million-dollar podcast with RFK Jr as his guest. However, the 55-year-old UFC commentator quickly responded to the scientist and invited him on his podcast for a debate with the presidential candidate. Rogan even offered $100,000 to the charity of Hotez’s choice to make the debate happen.

However, the professor turned down the offer to debate RFK Jr., but he was still willing to have a conversation regarding the vaccine misinformation. Apparently, Joe Rogan wasn’t happy about it. He wanted a public debate since the professor called him out publicly on Twitter. Moreover, Elon Musk joined in the conversation and claimed that Peter Hotez was afraid to participate in a debate.

Furthermore, the JRE host even claimed that the debate was a huge opportunity for Hotez if he was really serious about the opinions that he holds.

Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban blasts Joe Rogan

Mark Cuban wasn’t a fan of what Joe Rogan tweeted. He agrees with the fact that there are some serious problems with the pharmaceutical industry. However, this industry has saved countless lives, and Cuban claimed Rogan should consider those fact as well. He wrote, “Way to talk in generalities Joe. Not saying there aren’t a lot of f*cked up things about pharma. That’s why we created Costplusdrugs.com. But to ignore that the same industry has saved who knows how many lives is bulls**t and you know it.”

Mark Cuban also mentioned Rogan’s comments about vaccinations diminish the work put in by researchers, doctors, and medical professionals. He claimed that the 55-year-old doesn’t really intend to find the truth about vaccines.

The Dallas Mavericks’ owner fired shots at Elon Musk and Joe Rogan. He believes that both of them are driven by their own self-interest, which is a recurring problem with mainstream media. Cuban added, “Joe, you and [Elon Musk’s Twitter] are the mainstream online media and your platforms have become everything supposedly wrong with MSM. You are driven by self interest. Just like the MSM always has been accused of.”

He also mentioned that both Musk and Rogan have worked hard to be in the position that they are in. However, he insists that Rogan doesn’t portray himself as someone different from the general public because he isn’t. “And you both have earned that right. … But don’t lie to yourselves and all of us and tell us you are different. You aren’t,” wrote Cuban.
