Furthermore, Bisping revealed that Dana White was gutted not to have signed the legend in the UFC. He added his take on some of the legendary fights that the fans could not witness.
The UFC commentator said, “When I said legend of the game they don’t get much more legendary than Fedor ‘The Last Emperor’ Emelianenko.” Heralded as the greatest heavyweight we’ve ever seen. It was a shame that number 10 in our list Fedor and Randy, they never got to meet up in the UFC or outside of the promotion but still, it is what it is”.
When speaking about UFC’s failure to sign ‘The Emperor’, Bisping added, “Apparently, the only reason he didn’t fight in the UFC is because his management wanted a ridiculous deal and by all accounts Dana said in interview many times they gave him a ridiculous offer”.

Dana White was obsessed to sign Fedor Emelianenko
The UFC President is not a person that becomes obsessed with a fighter. Especially, one where the fighter is not even in his promotion. Perhaps he made an exception with Emelianenko.
In the clip added by Bisping on his podcast, Dana White was seen saying, “He has become my obsession man you know… I want it worse than the fans want it now believe me”.

Alas, his obsession did not result in anything fruitful and the fans could not see ‘The Emperor’ in the UFC.
