Valentina Shevchenko has proved that there is nothing she can’t do. From a successful combat career to being an exceptional dancer, ‘Bullet’ Shevchenko has mesmerized everyone with her skill set. She also starred in Halle Berry’s movie ‘Bruised’ and showed her acting chops.
While she has had so much going on, an old picture of ‘Bullet’ surfaced. In the picture, Shevchenko looks quite intimidating while looming over her fallen opponent. According to the Twitter account that posted the picture, the still is from a Muay Thai fight that took place in Holland back in 2008.

Apart from competing in MMA, Valentina Shevchenko has also competed in Muay Thai and Kickboxing, where she had a combined record of 55-1. Her achievements in combat sports can, of course, be attributed to her skills and hard work.
But one cannot ignore the fact that her older sister and her mother are big names themselves in combat sports. Her mother Elena Shevchenko has competed in Muay Thai fights at the age of 50. Therefore, the UFC fighter has a great example to follow.

Shevchenko has an incredible fight IQ and knows several forms of martial arts. As a result, one cannot be surprised that she has a stranglehold over the UFC women’s flyweight division.
Valentina Shevchenko: Her MMA career
Shevchenko started her professional MMA career back in 2013. She tore through her first seven opponents, defeating them by either submission or T/KO. However, she lost her eighth fight against Liz Carmouche.

She fought for a variety of promotions before finally signing up with the UFC in 2015. While ‘Bullet’ was successful in winning her first UFC fight, Amanda Nunes stopped her in her second bout. Later, Shevchenko defeated Holly Holm and Julianna Peña but fell to ‘The Lioness’ once more.
