When the news about the $44 billion Twitter deal had hit the Internet, the Spotify podcast host showed his joy in speculating about the changes the tech giant would bring to Twitter.

Rogan’s excitement did not last long, as later the reports suggested that the world’s richest man backed out of the deal. According to reports, Twitter did not provide Musk with the details of bots on its platform. Thus, Musk terminated the $44 billion deal.
Now, new reports have emerged that show how a conversation between Musk and Rogan went when the deal was initially made public.

The former Fear Factor host is relatively more active on his other social platforms like Instagram and Facebook than on Twitter. But when he heard the news of Musk buying Twitter live on his podcast, his excitement seemed on another level.

And apparently, he had reached out to his friend and past guest on the show. Rogan asked Musk about the changes he would bring to the platform.

When asked about ‘censorship’ on Twitter, Musk said, he would “Provide advice, which [Twitter] may or may not choose to follow.”
The JRE host, later in another conversation with the 51-year-old, showed an interest in throwing a party if the billionaire had taken over Twitter.

During the JRE episode #1809, Rogan was having a conversation with guest Jessica Kirson, where he was informing Kirson about Musk’s interest in taking over Twitter. And as Kirson acknowledged Rogan’s comment, the JRE host got reported about Musk’s $44 billion deal.
“Oh s***, Elon Musk just bought Twitter,” said Rogan.
“We got a movie star cut type of a superhero. It’s like a movie. Like if you had a movie and there was a guy who was like a hero in the movie who happened to be a billionaire and does wild s***, like, makes his own rockets, drills under the city…”
After comparing $263 billion-worth Elon Musk with a superhero, Rogan read an article about the deal to get more information.
