UFC megastar Conor McGregor took to social media and finally sent out his response to Dustin Poirier’s recent allegations. ‘The Diamond’ came out on Twitter and called out McGregor for failing to follow through on his promise of making a donation. Chiefly McGregor’s $500,000 donation to Dustin Poirier’s charity, ‘The Good Fight Foundation’ was a huge narrative going into UFC 257.

The news that ‘The Notorious’ hadn’t followed through on his donation certainly took the MMA community by storm. Fans of the Irishman immediately came out to defend McGregor as ‘The Notorious’ hadn’t yet released a statement. The aforementioned situation certainly leaves a lot to be desired, as the details have now become shaky at best. Fans are largely confused about who is exactly in the right in this equation, as the specifics have become blurred. However, there’s no doubt that the entire situation could very well be the tipping point to stoke to flames of a rivalry.
