

UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling silenced a lot of his critiques after he comprehensively defeated Petr Yan in their second fight and defended his belt. Moreover, he gained more fans after dominating TJ Dillashaw in his second title defense.
Meanwhile, with his past two performances, Sterling has gained a lot of respect from the MMA world. He recently revealed his ‘bucket list’, which inspired fans all over the world. The list dates back to 2019 before he had become or even was in contention to become a champion.

However, the question arises, what was on the bucket list that inspired so many fans? And how much of that list did he accomplish?
Aljamain Sterling had already planned his UFC roadmap to success
The funk master took to his Instagram to upload a picture of a handwritten piece that he had written in 2019. The list talked about the goals which he wished to achieve that year. Furthermore, it included having $1,75,000 in savings in the bank account.
Plus, with his cumulative earning of seven figures from fights, he has already achieved a lot.

Meanwhile, the list also mentioned him working on his boxing, becoming a BJJ black belt, bagging the no #1 contender spot in the bantamweight division, etc. It even had his long-term family and career plans written in it.
The caption talked about how he found that piece of paper and got emotional upon reading it. He said he “choked up” as he looked back on his career and compared it to where is he now.

He also wrote, “This journey hasn’t been easy, and I’ve given up a lot of precious moments to chase a dream that none of us athletes are ever 100% sure will happen.” Moreover, he also mentioned that he had achieved most of the goals he had written. However, there is still a lot to be done.

The bantamweight champion concluded by asking people to pen down their bucket lists. He said, “When you write things down it tends to make your path a little clearer and you subconsciously do things that work towards what you want in life.”

Sterling ended by saying that he wishes to inspire people who see the post and motivate them to strive for a better future.
