When Dana White announced the ‘Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler’ fight in February, fans expected the coming months to be filled with explosive updates and developments. However, the reality is the exact opposite of this. McGregor vs Chandler seems to be falling out and the MMA community’s frustration is evident.

Multiple episodes of The Ultimate Fighter 31, starring McGregor and Michael Chandler have aired. However, there is no sign of the Irishman stepping into the USADA pool. According to the anti-oping agency, a fighter must be in its testing pool for 6 months before competing. This clearly means that ‘The Notorious’ is not eligible to fight till the end of 2023. Amidst all this controversy, Chandler revealed an intriguing turn of events that might have left him fuming with frustration!

Moreover, the lightweight fighter also believes that Chandler vs McGregor is not happening. “I have a couple names. To be honest, I want to fight with Chandler because he’s (a) big name and I know Conor is not gonna fight. He’s over. That fight is going to be over.”

However, it doesn’t look like Chandler has opinions in the top 5. He might have to fight below in the rankings. If the McGregor fight doesn’t take place, it may leave him at his wit’s end.
