Colby Covington is known for his trash-talking in the sport of MMA. ‘Chaos’ knows how to sell his fights in the UFC. He usually creates a polarizing aura around himself before the fight that manages to keep the fans interested. One may say one of his most interesting rivalries in the Welterweight championship is against Kamaru Usman. However, Covington didn’t manage to defeat the former UFC champion even once in his two fights inside the octagon.
After Kamaru Usman’s loss against Leon Edwards at UFC 286, his future is in doubt in the UFC. The fans see ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’s’ time in the UFC coming to an end. ‘Chaos’ has pitched in with his thoughts over the same.

Colby Covington thrashed Kamaru Usman in the latest interview
‘Chaos’ spoke about his former rival in a recent interview with MMA Fighting on SBN. The former Interim champion didn’t hold back in commenting about Usman’s future. Additionally, Covington is also actively speaking about other fighters in the UFC.
Colby Covington said, “Yeah honestly I think he retires now. You can see it in the fight, he’s not the same Marty of the past.” Covington further cited the reason being the ‘drive’ of the former champion. He also stated that ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ didn’t look like his past self.
‘Chaos’ added, “You know he’s just not hungry man. He made a lot of money with the fights that he had you know the Jorge fight. The two fights with me that I sold because no one gave a f*ck about him because you know he doesn’t have the personality. His personality has a wet mop in the corner.”

Despite being 0-2 against Usman, Colby Covington said he won his last fight against him
Covington explained in the interview that he defeated the former Welterweight champion in his fight at Madison Square Garden. ‘Chaos’ said that he also made Usman some much-needed money by fighting him.
The former interim champion said that every fan was a witness to his victory. ‘Chaos’ said, “They all screamed my name All after the fight said that I won at least three to two but a lot of them thought I won 4-1… He got beat so deep down in my heart I can live with that forever Mike…”
