Volkanovski said – “I agree with that [on not getting media attention]. I haven’t been the one to really care about that. But many things are changing, and I am going to change that, you know what I mean. Going out there and doing what I plan on doing this weekend is going to change that.”
“So, I am gonna go out there and obviously, you know, you say this every time, ‘you are going to put him away.’ But mate, I am doing everything I can now. I am going to, you know, shut Ortega’s mouth up by putting his head through the canvas. And you know, I am gonna go get that finish.”
“I want to put on a performance. I want people leaving that arena like absolutely blown away by the performance, and get people talking.” – Volkanovski added.

Meanwhile, Ortega has only one professional loss, which was a doctor stoppage loss against Max Holloway. Despite enduring a barrage of vicious punches, ‘T-City’ kept moving forward in his fight against Holloway. Ortega has never been knocked out cold in his career.
Volkanovski certainly has the strength to claim a T/KO victory. However, Ortega has already shown in his fight against Holloway that he can take whatever comes his way. The bottom line is, fans can expect anything in this exciting featherweight title clash.
