Bo Nickal, one of the promotion’s most promising prospects and a graduate of the Dana White Contender Series, doesn’t seem too happy with the UFC. In a fresh tweet, the 27-year-old called out the promotion after his ratings for his in-game character in UFC 4 were revealed. Nickal, along with Raul Rosas Jr. were the two fresh additions announced for the flagship game of the MMA promotion developed by EA Sports. To air his dissatisfaction, the former NCAA wrestler tweeted his discontent at the developers while promising an adjustment to the stats after his next fight.

The 27-year-old is all set to make his UFC debut against Jamie Pickett at UFC 285. After an impressive outing in his last fight, many expect the American to make a huge impact among the top middleweights of the world.

Bo Nickal is not happy with his in-game ratings on UFC 4

After UFC 4’s official handle on Twitter made the announcement, Nickal didn’t seem content with the stats that the game developers decided to use for his skills. The former NCAA wrestler seemed more dissatisfied with the grappling skills. He clearly felt that he was much better than a 4-star rated grappler. Considering that he was a three-time NCAA champion, the 27-year-old does have a valid reason to be disappointed.

Along with Nickal, another one of UFC’s prospects was also added to the roster. Raul Rosas Jr., another product of the contender series, was the second addition to the game. Both the fighters had similar stats, with an overall rating of 4 stars.

Although Rosas didn’t seem to complain about his ratings; Nickal aired his dissatisfaction with the following tweet: “Woahhhh that grappling rating totally outta pocket. No 5 stars?! We will get that adjusted after my fight.”

But the former freestyle wrestler does seem to have his priorities in place. With a fight coming up at UFC 285, Nickal also announced that his performance against Jamie Pickett will be enough to change the stats when the game comes up with its regular update.

Nickal is to make a debut at UFC 285 opposite Jamie Pickett

After an impressive outing in DWCS, the 27-year-old was meant to face Pickett back in December 2022. But after pulling gout owing to an injury, the bout eventually got rescheduled for UFC 285. For the 3-0 fighter, this couldn’t have been planned better, as being a part of the March 4 event means he gets to rub shoulders with the likes of Jon Jones and Valentina Shevchenko in what could be a massive PPV card. And for someone who many believe to be a future star, Nickal might find this to be the best opportunity to stamp his mark on the middleweight division.
