Joe Rogan has been a podcast host for over a decade now. The comedian over the years has been very open with his audience about his life. Although he tries to keep his family out of the limelight, however when it comes to him and his personal life experiences, the show host has been nothing but honest about it.

Recently, on his show, the podcaster revealed about his childhood and his father. Rogan called his father a ‘psychotic person’ and moreover, even referred to him as very violent.

Rogan even described that his father would beat his mother. Moreover, he narrated one of the incidents from his childhood where he told that his father hauled his cousin up by his hair.

Joe Rogan receives a lawsuit from his father

As reported by ‘The Sun’, Rogan’s father, Joseph Rogan, demanded to sit with the podcaster on his show and talk man-to-man about the entire claims made by the comedian. 

He also threatened the 55-year-old with a lawsuit filed for defamation. Furthermore, the lawsuit was also directed toward ‘Spotify’ as well. His father reportedly said that he wished to confront the podcaster and tell his side of the story.

The 80-year-old’s attorney also sent a letter to The UFC commentator. The letter claims that the allegations have caused 

enormous and quantifiable harm to his reputation.

Joseph Rogan’s attorney said, “Rather than immediately file such an action for damages and injunctive relief against you and your employer, Spotify, Mr. Rogan would be eager to appear on your podcast to look you in the eye, man-to-man, and correct your erroneous statements and explain the true facts to you”

Will the podcaster end up getting sued?

According to the letter, they have given the podcaster time till 1st November to give a favorable reply. Nevertheless, if Rogan fails to comply with the letter’s demands and doesn’t respond on time, legal proceedings will begin.

Moreover, the attorney also stated that it would be conclusive evidence of the maliciousness of the false statements in case he rejected the course of action.
