Dustin Poirier could make his return to the Octagon soon

The UFC Superstar said in the opening section of the interview that the fight is on short notice while keeping his opponent a mystery, “Honestly, another thing that got the flame going is couple days ago I got a phone call but I can’t talk about it yet. However, as the interview continued, he finally unfurled the name of his next opponent, ” Look I don’t owe these guys nothing, and I am not biting my tongue, it is Nate Diaz, just like he got on Twitter, I am not gonna say what card, I am not going to say what date or whatever, but he got on Twitter talking, everybody is a tough, and this guy fights and I am a fan of him, but everybody is a tough guy on the internet.”

This will be the perfect fight for both UFC stars to close out their feud in the best possible manner. Nate Diaz is on the final leg of his UFC contract and is looking to fight out his contract. Meanwhile, it is unlikely that Dustin will make a title run in the lightweight division anytime soon, so it makes sense for him to go for these massive big-money fights.
