Jon Jones has a record of 27 wins, 1 loss and 1 no-contest. He has won his fights in many ways – via decisions, submissions, and even knockouts. The only time ‘Bones’ lost a fight was against Matt Hamill, which was a disqualification due to him unknowingly hitting the latter with a 12-6 elbow strike when his opponent was on the mat. Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall has also lost one fight in the UFC so far. Nevertheless, the British prospect has been making waves since arriving in Dana White‘s promotion.

However, Aspinall has shown how dominant he can be in all the six fights that he’s won. He’s defeated fighters like Alexander Volkov and Serghei Spivac. Five of his six wins have come in the very first round with submissions and knockouts. Moreover, Aspinall has always finished his opponents instead of defeating them by decision. When it comes to the chances of him fighting Jon Jones, there is a possibility of that fight taking place in the future.
UFC 295 interim title fight could be a number one contender’s match

This has led to speculation from former double champion Henry Cejudo that the interim title fight could be a number one contenders match. Even the UFC legend Chael Sonnen weighed in on the possibility of that happening.
