Joe Rogan and Ariel Helwani are probably the two biggest names in MMA journalism. A recent comment from Rogan created a major rift between the two. Ariel Helwani has gone on the offensive against Joe Rogan after the UFC presenter made some comments about Helwani in a conversation with Belal Muhammad. The 55-year-old made a remark about how Ariel Helwani gets people to say things. As fans may have expected, the Canadian Journalist has reacted to the claim now. Helwani looked very agitated at the comments made by Joe Rogan and called him out for spreading “fake information“.

Responding to the UFC commentator’s claims when a fan asked him a question about it, Ariel Helwani said, “I didn’t ask Sean Brady to say that Sean Brady offered up on his own. How could someone say that and what does that even mean? In general?”

Talking on the subject, The MMA Hour podcast host continued, “Ariel Helwani gets people to say things and especially coming from the guy who was pushing false narratives and false information and fake information and all kinds of nonsense over the past few years”

Fans react to Joe Rogan vs Helwani feud

MMA fans were divided in opinion about the feud between the two MMA personalities. A fan commented, “Ariel should keep in his lane and not engage all the bottom feeders like Paddy, that schwaub guy, dillon dannis or Rogan. Fu**ing youtube dramas ugh”

Helwani fans had some more suggestions for him. A fan said, “I like Ariel, and it’s good to have a media personality not controlled by the UFC machine. But his response here is quite disingenuous. Ariel knows exactly what Rogan means and Ariel knows he is guilty of it.

Fans also felt that Rogan also made people say what he wanted them to. A fan wrote, “And Rogan doesn’t try and goad fighters into saying s***? F*** outta here. He blatantly tried getting Jan to admit to losing a fight to where he was even saying he was buzzed and couldn’t call it. The man is shameless.”

It wasn’t only Rogan who faced lashes from the fans. Ariel Helwani too was under fire. A fan said, “What a benign comment to react to. Ariel should have a chat with moderator louis and have him submit real questions of substance instead of this drama baiting bs”

Another fan said, “Rare miss from Ariel. Completed overreacted and potentially burned a bridge with one of the most popular guys in MMA.”

A fan who didn’t like what Ariel Helwani said much wrote, “Ariel like to think he’s PBS news hour. He’s always been CNN and thats fine but he 100 isn’t just news. He rubs people salty 100.”
