The polish fighter got knocked out after Weili unleashed her spinning back fist. This led to Jędrzejczyk losing the bout in the second round.
The UFC posted an Instagram reel of Jędrzejczyk and former opponent Valentina Shevchenko interacting after UFC 275. Both the fighters seemed to share a great rapport.
McGregor commented under the reel, “Two of the all time greatest! Wow!”

The Irish fighter also shared the reel on his stories.
So there is no doubt that ‘The Notorious’ recognizes the skills and attention Shevchenko and Jędrzejczyk have brought to women’s mixed martial arts. His appreciation for Jędrzejczyk might also come from the fact that she holds the record of being the longest-reigning champion in UFC’s strawweight division.

Jędrzejczyk has never lost a single fight until she faced Rose Namajunas. She lost twice against Namajunas, later against Shevchenko, and twice against Weili.

The Weili fight will be Jędrzejczyk’s last in MMA. Post this fight, the former women’s strawweight champion announced her retirement. However, she plans to be around the UFC.
When will Conor McGregor return to the Octagon?
Like Jędrzejczyk has been away from the octagon for a while, so has Conor McGregor. He last fought Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and sustained a broken leg.
Since then fans have been wondering when the fighter will make a comeback. Some even speculated if he was ready to retire. But the Irishman has made it clear he will be back and intends to become a champion once again.

However, it also looks like UFC President Dana White has a great opponent for McGregor. He is interested in making McGregor and Michael Chandler fight. Both the fighters have even engaged in banter on social media.
If McGregor does return to the Octagon against Chandler, it would be a huge fight; especially after the latter’s recent win over Tony Ferguson.
