The 11th annual UFC International Fight Week will feature the Hall of Fame ceremony of 2023, this summer in Las Vegas. When he found out about the announcement of his hall of fame induction, Pulver had an overwhelming reaction. Pulver has been actively streaming on Twitch nowadays. The former lightweight champ was streaming live, and he could not hold his tears back after knowing that his name was going to be immortalized in the history books of the company.

Conor McGregor Posts an Instagram Story for Jens Pulver

Conor Mcgregor took to Instagram to congratulate the UFC legend on his UFC Hall Of Fame induction. He reposted the emotional reaction video of the American reacting to the news of his Hall of Fame induction. With the story, he wrote, “An absolute all-time legend” and tagged Pulver with it.

Jen Pulver’s UFC Career

Pulver made his UFC debut in 2001 at UFC 28 where he knocked out John Lewis in a spectacular fashion. He fought his very next fight for the newly founded lightweight championship on the line. The MMA icon defeated Caol Uno to become the first UFC lightweight champion, at the age of 27.

He then went on to defend the lightweight title twice in the next year. Pulver won his first defense against Dennis Hallman via a unanimous decision. The second defense was against the legendary B.J. Penn, and Pulver won that too, this time via a majority decision. Later, Pulver vacated the UFC lightweight belt due to contract disputes.

Apart from UFC, Jen Pulver fought in many other top fighting promotions. Nicknamed Lil’ Evil, the mixed martial artist retired from fighting in 2014. To this day, Pulver remains one of the most influential personalities in the MMA world.
