Conor McGregor Return: Major Fallout With Dana White Looms Around as Coach Kavanagh Stunned by UFC Star Not Getting ‘More Opportunities’

Conor McGregor is currently on a hiatus and is awaiting a comeback against Michael Chandler. However, from the looks of Dana White and UFC admin, it seems as if ‘Mystic Mac’ has to wait longer. ‘The Notorious’ is frustrated by such delays and in his latest confession, he expressed that he is losing motivation to train. Even McGregor’s coach and manager are now frustrated by White’s constant delays.

In his late͏st statement, Coach John ͏Kavanagh has sent shockwaves through the pro͏motion ͏and Dana White, ͏urging͏ them to provide a definitive date for the ͏return of the former dual-weight cha͏mpion. Let’s delve into what Kavanagh had to say on this.

The former dual-weight champion was supposed to fight Michael Chandler this year, however, there have been no dates from the UFC admin regarding this matter. Dana White on various occasions has blamed McGregor’s wealth as the stepping stone for his willingness to fight but from the look of the situation, White’s claims remain unsubstantiated. Conor McGregor’s situation was so grim that his former rival, Nate Diaz had to step in to raise his voice against the administration to free McGregor.

After Diaz, it seems as if even Coach John Kavanagh has had enough of White’s games. In a conversation with renowned MMA journalist, Ariel Helwani, Kavanagh stated that their entire team is tired of such delays. “I won’t pretend to know the politics and what’s going on with legal stuff in the background,”

He further added, “All I know is it seems odd that we’re not getting [any news]. Like I said, I really am speaking from a position of ignorance because I actually try to purposefully avoid all of that. Audie [Attar] and the team, they do all that, they go back and forth with Hunter [Campbell] and the UFC team. But yeah, it’s weird to me for someone to be the star he is and not get more opportunities.”

These statements came after McGregor confessed that he is finding it difficult to maintain his motivation. Rumors from the community state that White delaying the comeback for a new contract. McGregor breaks silence on UFC contract issues

Previously, McGregor revealed that his contract with UFC is about to lapse as he only had two fights under it. The former dual weight champion is currently busy with the promotion of his film ‘Road House’, promotion, however, he promised that he will get back to training soon. In his conversation with ‘talkSPORT MMA’, McGregor revealed plans for his fighting career.

“I’ve got this workload on me right now because I’ve got the promotion of the movie, I’ve got St Patrick’s festivities with the alcohol. After that it’s a closed door, so I get to go in and close the door and map my plan. And then gym-home-gym-home and I hope we get some clarity with a date and I can push towards it. I’m sure we will get something in by year-end that’s what I’m hoping. Yeah, for sure, I would like that I would love that if they give me that and then we can go ahead and straight away, you know… That would be great for me June 29th, and then the sphere,” said Conor McGregor.
