Currently, one of the hottest properties in the UFC, Paddy Pimblett is prepared for his UFC 282 bout against Jared Gordon on Dec. 10. However, before his fateful fight at T-Mobile Arena, the British fighter appeared along with UFC president Dana White and significantly went against the voice of MMA fighters. Further, the lightweight fighter also made a dividing statement regarding the fighters’ pay in his podcast episode.
Notably, ‘The Baddy’ in the special episode of his podcast, Chattin Pony, sat with the UFC lynchpin. The duo discussed the recently concluded UFC events, the upcoming UFC 282, fresh developments in the MMA world, and other intriguing issues. However, during the now-infamous segment, the Liverpool-born fighter attacked the noted journalist, Ariel Helwani, and discarded his constant demands for better fighters’ wages.

What did Paddy Pimblett say about the fighters’ wages?
Pimblett, 27, declared that the fighters got paid for what they were worth. Stating his example, Liverpudlian claimed he had a nice wage and he could afford to go buy watches.
Subsequently, Next Generation MMA product admitted that the talks of fighter pay annoyed him. The Brit added further, “It also annoys me when all the fighters say about me, ‘Oh, he’s getting pushed more than anyone else.’ I’m not. I just create better content than all of you. Just because you couldn’t sell a bible to an orthodox Christian, know what I mean.”

However, Pimblett’s comments didn’t escape the scanning eyes of the MMA fans as they blasted him for these contrary remarks.
