The UFC White House event has undergone a major shakeup. Originally slated for July 4, 2026, to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, the plans took a dramatic turn today when President Donald Trump arrived in Virginia. Earlier this year, Trump had already stoked anticipation for the fights. On July 3, at the Iowa grounds and in the presence of UFC CEO Dana White, he officially announced that the 18-acre presidential residence would host the sports spectacle.

“So, every one of our national parks, battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of America 250. And I even think we’re going to have a UFC fight,” said Donald Trump. Since then, organizers have pushed forward with preparations for the UFC White House event, with President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, teaming up with Dana White to orchestrate what they hope will be “the baddest card of all time.”
However, the fight card still remains under wraps. Adding another twist, President Trump recently changed the date, aligning the UFC White House event with a political rally celebrating the Navy’s 250th anniversary in Virginia. In front of sailors, he confirmed that the event will now take place on his 80th birthday, June 14. “On June 14 next year we’re gonna have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House, on the grounds of the White House,” Trump shared.

According to Adam Stern, Dana White confirmed that the promotion will invest around $700,000 to replace the South Lawn grass, which really highlights the magnitude of the undertaking. Although White has not made a formal announcement, he provided a crucial update on the White House event during last week’s post-fight press conference at UFC 320.
Dana White promises fans an unforgettable UFC White House spectacle
The UFC recently faced criticism for serving up lackluster fight cards. Still, UFC 320, however, shut down those narratives this past weekend, proving the promotion can still deliver exactly what fans crave. As the year limps into October, UFC officials and CEO Dana White are already turning heads and, in the process, laying the groundwork for the highly anticipated UFC White House event, now rescheduled for June 14. Whatever the date, the buzz promises it will be “the greatest fight card ever assembled.”
Although organizers will probably limit the UFC White House event to invitation-only viewers for security reasons, fans can still catch every moment live on Paramount, thanks to the new broadcasting deal launching in early 2026, which ends the traditional pay-per-view model. Despite the growing anticipation, questions continue to swirl around Dana White and the event. Yet when asked, the UFC CEO offers a clear and confident answer.

Speaking to media members at the UFC 320 post-fight press conference, Dana White provided an update: “If you look at what we’re looking down the barrel of now, we’re about to go on a new network on Paramount. We need to deliver a massive, incredible card in January. Then in February, we’ll start looking at building the White House card, which I will right now tell you will be the greatest fight card ever assembled in the history of, at least, definitely this company.”
With heavy hitters like Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, and now Alex Pereira circling the card, the pressure intensifies on UFC matchmakers to craft a spectacle worthy of the White House stage. Dana White has yet to name the headliner, so fans will have to stay tuned.
