Jack ‘Phar’ Jenkins has had a good MMA career. Dana White recently signed him for his contender series in UFC. His career stats read 10-2-0. Jenkins, however, revealed how a fan once helped him win a fight. The Australian recounted the story in a video posted on Twitter.

Dana White may have introduced Jenkins to UFC, but Jenkins has had a noteworthy fighting history.

Jenkins recounted a story in the video where he tells how a fan’s advice once helped him beat an opponent. He further talked about a certain fan called Ben Paige, who once texted him. Jenkin also said that the fan wanted to inform him about the weak points of the opponent he was going to fight next.

Jenkins said, “I had a message from this kid and his name was Ben Paige. He says, hey mate, I have watched every fight of the guy you are fighting. Two things, your leg kicks work, and I went on this Peruvian website and I found out a photo of him. And his eye got cut open in a fight and he sends me this photo that he has googled.”

Jack Jenkins further revealed how he remembered the fan’s advice when he actually got into the fight and used the advice in the fight. He then added, “He has gone deep into South American media to find the guy I fought. His eye was split right open, and that’s the only fight that guy had lost. That’s when his eye was split open. I am like, thanks bro, that’s as good as I thought. If I hit this eye, it’s gonna bust up. I am thinking of Ben Paige, and I hit him and it splits open. He was right.”

The 29-year-old from Australia is a featherweight fighter. He has a long way to go in the UFC. He recently secured a contract with the promotion. The contract has breathed a new lease of life into his MMA career.

What Jack Jenkins will do in the future is yet to be seen. It is, however, clear that the fighter has a fan base and an aware fan base that will only help him grow. If he will make his UFC contract worth it or not will be visible in the next year or so, but fans can definitely look forward to an exciting prospect.
