UFC commentator Joe Rogan and internet personality, Liver King, were recently at odds with each other. Brian Johnson, aka Liver King, rose to fame for his habit of eating raw liver and rigorous exercise routines. Rogan, however, came out and stated that Liver King’s lifestyle was a gimmick. He also accused him of taking steroids to achieve his unusually ripped physique.

Amidst these controversies, UFC legend Mark Coleman has come forward to support the Liver King. In a recent social media post, Coleman expressed his gratitude to Liver King for helping his ward compete in UFC 280.

He said that Liver King’s supplements helped A.J. Dobson, who Coleman mentors, compete on a UFC 280 card. Coleman wrapped up the post by asking fans to tune in for Dobson’s fight. He also provided the bout details.

Support from a martial arts legend like Coleman is monumental for Liver King. Especially when a figure like Joe Rogan openly made steroid accusations against him. Coleman’s claim may also prove beneficial to Liver King’s line of supplements.

Rogan said: “No, that’s a gimmick, that guy. He’s got an a** filled with steroids, is what he got. That’s not a natural body. That guy is shooting all kinds of shit into his system to achieve that kind of physique.” He added, “I don’t even know if there’s a benefit in eating raw meat. From what I’ve understood, talking to experts, there’s actually a lot gained from cooking because the protein becomes more bioavailable.”
