Colby Covington surprised Michael Bisping at the airport

Bisping mentioned that he reached the airport earlier than usual, but unfortunately, his flight was delayed. However, as he was waiting, someone jumped him from behind. He said, “My flight’s delayed so I’m hanging around the airport for 4 hours after not sleeping all night…. And I’m standing there and all of a sudden someone dives at me from behind. And I jumped because I am a nervous son of a b*tch.”

However, the person was none other than Colby Covington. “I jump out of my skin and I’m terrified and I look right, it’s Colby Covington,” said Bisping. He added, “This son of a b*tch was like ‘What’s up, Mike?”

Bisping mentioned that ‘Chaos’ had arrived there with his team and claimed that he was respectful and nice to him. He said, “He was there with his team so we were having a quick catch-up. You know what? Colby’s a solid dude, man. Honestly, he was so respectful.”

But their relationship was not as rosy as it is now in the past.

Bisping and Covington had a heated confrontation a few years ago

Things weren’t always nice between the UFC Hall of Famer and the welterweight title contender. They had an odd and heated verbal scuffle on the post-fight show of UFC 225 when Covington beat Rafael dos Anjos via a unanimous decision to become the interim welterweight champion.
