After Nate Diaz said his view of the fight, Georges St-Pierre also shared his words regarding the fighters. The UFC legend had some words for Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s protégé after UFC 284.

Georges St-Pierre has some words for Islam Makhachev

Georges St-Pierre took to Instagram to share what he felt about the fight at UFC 284. The UFC legend shared a story with a video on his social media account. ‘Rush’ shared a video of a bear fighting a feline animal in his story.

The former welterweight and middleweight champion also wrote a message along with the video. St-Pierre wrote, “Skills>Size”. Many would assume the message could be meant for Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski fight.

There was a difference of 4 inches in height between the two fighters. The Dagestani fighter stands at 5’10 and the Australian champion stands at 5’6. However, the match showed that the difference in height doesn’t matter, but the skills and resilience do.

Alexander Volkanovski impressed everyone at UFC 284

The fight between the pound for pound number one and two resulted in a very close match. The fight went back and forth and both fighters had their moment. Moreover, the UFC featherweight champion showed some flaws in the game of Islam Makhachev, otherwise deemed invincible.

Moreover, the champion mentality that Volkanovski had resonated throughout the fight. The Australian fighter gave the lightweight champ the toughest fight of his career. The UFC featherweight champion almost had a three-minute ground control time at UFC 284.
