The octagon isn’t the only place action takes place in the UFC. An altercation happened between Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz, MMA fighter, and Jiu-Jitsu Black-belt Dillon Danis. Dillon Danis is a close friend of two-division champion Conor McGregor. Danis posted a tweet tagging Nate Diaz after the fight. The tweet, however, was deleted sometime later.

Diaz and Dillon Danis appear to have gotten into some scuffle outside Madison Square Garden. Fans claim that the famous Stockton slap was unleashed. Following the altercation, Dillon Danis posted a tweet claiming he “punked” Diaz, and that Diaz ran away like a little b****. The tweet was taken down later.

Nate Diaz’s teammate Jake shields shared the screenshot of the deleted tweet and tweeted “Dillon deleted this as soon as he realized people filmed him getting slapped.” Fans have shared multiple videos and images of the scuffle and were quick to comment.

Jake Shields is a former MMA fighter and Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. Teams Danis and Diaz had to be separated by manager Audie Attar. Diaz got into an argument with one of Danis’ teammates and threw the famous Stockton slap.

Nate Diaz has left the UFC

Nate Diaz left the UFC after submitting Tony Ferguson to UFC 279. Diaz is now possibly transitioning into the Boxing world. Diaz has been out of the octagon since September 2022. His Pro MMA record reads 21-13-0.

Diaz was also involved in a scuffle with Jake Paul’s crew earlier in November. Diaz fans would know that the Stockton lad had never shied away from trouble. Madison Square Garden scuffle is just another page in his book.

Dana White is not too bothered about the scuffle

UFC president Dana White has also shared his reactions with the media. He said that Nate Diaz and his team wanted 6 seats for UFC 281. The event was already sold out and Diaz had to figure it out himself.

Dana White said nothing of this sort bothers him anymore as he expects these things when Diaz is around. Diaz has gathered a reputation for being a bad boy and the UFC boss will not look too deeply into this.
