There has been much debate regarding the UFC fighters pay in recent times. It all started with Jon Jones demanding more money for his super fight with Francis Ngannou. Then add to that the enormous amount of money YouTube and boxing stars made in their fights. All of this meant many people like Dana White, Paulo Costa and Francis Ngannou were talking about the same.
While Francis Ngannou had earlier questioned what he was doing wrong to be paid so little as compared to the boxing and You Tube stars. Paulo Costa recently jumped in the conversation and took to Twitter to share his views.
He wrote, “UFC needs to pay me as main fighter to have fighting in main events. Youtubers are showing all disgrace on this business.” Costa did not stop there and even commented on how UFC announced a fight without him signing any contract.

White was also asked about what he thinks is next for Paulo Costa. He said, “Sounds like nothing, sounds like he’s going to sit out and hang out for a while. I don’t what you know. He said; I want to be paid more because of what these YouTube stars are making. Apparently, he didn’t see his last fight.”
In his last outing at UFC 253 “Borrachinha” lost the fight against Israel Adesanya via a 2nd round TKO. Many criticized Costa’s performance in the fight and called him out for his poor show. Now it seems that even Dana White seems to believe that after that sort of performance Costa does not deserve to ask for more money.
