When it comes to humility, Brandon Moreno is your go-to person in all the UFC. The 29-year-old has a high humility, which, in no sense, could be considered bad. This trait allows Moreno to stay focused on his end goal and ultimately achieve it with great pride. The flyweight champion is good at staying grounded, which is a noble trait to possess, especially in combat sports. Brandon Moreno destroyed his opponent, Deiveson Figueiredo, in the UFC 283 rematch and claimed the belt. Since the event took place in the Brazilian fighter’s homeland, the native audience was not too happy about their fighter’s loss.

This view is a bit drastic but suits the recent narrative, “All the UFC/MMA fans I’ve met irl have been really cool and chill people but for some reason, the ones that attend events/stadiums seem to have been raised in zoos.”.

We can consider this a practical view indeed, “if figgy beat Moreno the same way in Mexico, Mexican fans would do the exact same sh*t lmao they’ve done it before.”
Disrespecting the legendary Glover Teixeira is something else entirely, “what’s just as disgusting… fans walked out on Glover’s retirement speech.”

The view cannot be changed regardless of what Moreno thinks: “nice guy. It was disrespectful, though, hard for me to see it any other way.”
The utter love for the Mexican is shown in this sentence, “oh my god I can hear his voice saying this.”

What does Brandon Moreno think about the ‘disgusting’ incident?
“Maybe because they thought I poked Figueiredo’s eye,” said Moreno about why the crowd started attacking him. This could be completely possible. However, fans are known to disrespect another country’s team if their home team doesn’t win in any situation. In this case also, maybe because Figueiredo lost the title, the Brazilian fans were upset.
