“He’s a Stone-Cold Killer” – Michael Chiesa Says He Has Been Training With Justin Gaethje

UFC fighters Michael Chiesa and Justin Gaethje had the golden opportunity of working with each other outside the ring. Both the fighters appeared in a hilarious commercial and fans are absolutely loving it.

In the commercial for Jose Cuervo, the house party takes an odd turn when Chiesa and Gaethje habitually square off while making small talk. The fact that the stare-down was pleasant and both the fighters were speaking in a friendly manner made it quite funny.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Chiesa spoke about his experience working with Gaethje. Chiesa had several good things to say about his fellow UFC fighter.

He said, “It wasn’t super hard to do because, for one, its it was a ‘be yourself’ type of commercial. It’s not like I had to act and study this huge, long script and I had a great dance partner.”

He further said, “I mean, working with Justin Gaethje that day, we had a lot of fun, man. And I gotta say, having to staredown that guy for hours upon hours. Every time I had to lock eyes with him, I’m like ‘I feel bad for these guys that they gotta fight him because he, he’s a stone-cold killer man. He’s a stone-cold killer, but I had a blast working with him.”

Chiesa surely had fun and hopes to do more of such stuff in the future. He also shared how he was made to wear a sweater and jeans for the commercial while the weather was extremely hot.

What’s next for Michael Chiesa?

‘Maverick’ has a great record of 18-5-0. His last fight was against Vicente Luque and unfortunately, he lost the bout. The American fighter also previously lost against Anthony Pettis, Kevin Lee, Joe Lauzon, and Jorge Masvidal. However, he is back with an exciting fight against welterweight Sean Brady at UFC Fight Night on November 20.
