Jorge Masvidal is one of the most well-known fighters in the UFC, because of his amazing striking skills in the MMA cage. The UFC’s “BMF” title holder is also well recognized for being extremely interested in social media. Masvidal prefers keeping his fingers busy by posting stuff on his social media handles, which are mostly about the fight game. Recently, the ‘Gamebred’ took to Facebook and shared a post showing the noted UFC referee, Herb Dean, facing an opponent inside the MMA cage.

Jorge Masvidal was stunned at the UFC referee’s skills
The ‘Gamebred’ was absolutely startled to see the man breaking up fights, getting engaged in fights himself. Referees have often shown their MMA skills while breaking up fights, where fighters didn’t obey them. But it was probably Dean’s striking which stunned Masvidal.

The ‘BMF’ shared an article on Combathaven, which contained the video of Dean’s skills inside the cage.
He also captioned it as, “HOLY F**K!?!! #HerbDean is a Savage!” which clearly implied his bewilderment.
When did Herb Dean step into the cage with the gloves on?
While most of us might know him as the most famous UFC referee, Herb Dean, also had a career in MMA. He had a career span of 6 years ranging from 2001 to 2007. He fought 5 times in his career for multiple promotions including a well-known one, ‘Cage Rage’.
The video showcased three of his fights, where Herb was seen giving his opponents a good taste of his fists and legs.
Also, Herb Dean has a solid track record for seeing things that neither of the fighters notice and over the years, he has helped preserve several careers.
