Conor McGregor is one of the most prolific knockout artists in UFC history. In his prime, the Irishman is slick on the feet, with masterful movement and thunderous knockout power. His left hand has put several legends like Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez, to sleep with relative ease. A striking maestro, McGregor also holds several records for knocking out people in the UFC. He has knockout wins in three different weight classes and also has the faster KO win in a title fight to his name. However, there is one that evades him and he has made it his mission to achieve that.
‘The Notorious’ recently took to Twitter to announce the same. Interestingly, his latest goal was inspired by a UFC veteran who had a successful outing at UFC Charlotte on Saturday. With his return inching closer, McGregor now has another goal to set his eyes on, thanks to UFC veteran Matt Brown.
In a battle of veterans at UFC Charlotte, 42-year-old Matt Brown fought 39-year-old Court McGee in the final fight on the prelims. ‘The Immortal’ proved he still has it by scoring an astonishing walk-off knockout. With the win, he tied heavyweight Derrick Lewis for the most knockouts in UFC history. This record has now attracted the eyes of Conor McGregor.
