Aljamain Sterling has earned a glorious name in the UFC after his bout against Petr Yan at UFC 259; The victory made him the bantamweight champion. At the moment, ‘Funkmaster’ is getting ready to square off against the former UFC two-division champion, Henry Cejudo. The bout also marks the comeback of Cejudo after his last victory against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249, which was held on May 9, 2020. The UFC community has mixed reactions to the probable outcome of the clash. Cejudo will be back in the octagon after a hiatus of nearly three long years while Sterling is actively fighting for the promotion.
Nonetheless, Sterling was suffering from a major shoulder injury that can become an enormous obstacle to retaining the belt. However, there is a high chance that ring rust will get hold of ‘The Messenger’. Hence, it is difficult to predict the winner. At the moment, Sterling stands at a whopping 22 victories and just three losses. While ‘Triple C’ has achieved 16 victories and just two losses. While fans are actively making their predictions, the Funk Master’s former opponent, Marlon Moraes, is talking highly of the ‘Funkmaster’.

In the Tweet, Moraes was reported to have said, “I have a lot of respect for both but in that matchup, I believe Sterling is just too long. I believe Sterling will get it. He’s just too long, he can keep the range with the kicks and he can stop Henry’s takedowns. [Cejudo] might get stuck in one of the front headlocks of Sterling. Sterling is a good fighter.”
