“I Try to Be Very Fair”- Joe Rogan Responds to Criticism on His Commentary

Joe Rogan is arguably the most popular spokesperson and advocates for MMA. He helped popularize the sport and UFC. He dedicated his time to the promotion in the nascent stage and even worked the shows for free. His role in building the sport from the ground has been imperative, and he continues to add more value to his popular podcast, Joe Rogan Experience (JRE).
The 54-year-old comedian also takes time to enjoy his other passions and hosting his podcast is one of them. He uses that platform to vocalize his thoughts surrounding controversies around the sport and himself.
In his recent podcast featuring fellow comic Brian Simpson, Joe was quizzed about weird accusations that are often hinged against him for his commentary work.

It makes things increasingly difficult for anyone to call their fights and keep their personal opinions and feeling on the side. He offered his response to the mounting criticism from the community and stated that he always tries to be fair.
” I try to be very fair, always with my commentary and I am also very respectful. Even if you think that my commentary was biased or, one way another, you will never think I am disrespectful. Cause I always try to, unless someone is doing something really dirty.”

Noted that influx of retired MMA fighters in the booth has changed the landscape, but for the major portion of UFC’s life span, Joe’s voice bridged the gap for newer fans.
