‘The Highlight’ Justin Gaethje hasn’t fought since his UFC 254 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov. The former WSOF lightweight champion got his first shot at UFC gold against ‘The Eagle’ but fell short. He is currently looking for an opponent for his next dance and, there is an array of options available with the current state of the UFC lightweight division.

Charles Oliveira is on the rise. Former Bellator champion Michael Chandler had a fantastic debut too at UFC 257. A rematch against Dustin Poirier or a fight against Conor McGregor is a great option for Gaethje, too. There is also the return of Nate Diaz looming large over the 155 lbs division of the UFC, but Gaethje believes he would obliterate Diaz should they fight.

In a recent interview with ESPN MMA, Gaethje said, “[If] they called me to fight Nate Diaz, I am fighting Nate Diaz. I will roll him up and smoke him like a blunt. I can smoke Nate Diaz every day of the week. I guarantee that. I’m not very proud of that. But he’s Mr. 420. I’ll roll him up and smoke him.
