When asked about Chandler, McGregor acknowledged his exciting fighting style and described him as a gamer who is always willing to step up and compete. The Irishman also acknowledged that Chandler is not a bad fighter, indicating that he respects his skills inside the octagon. Ultimately, McGregor expressed his satisfaction with the matchup, stating that it didn’t bother him as he was content with facing Chandler.
“He has put on some exciting fights. He is eager, he’s willing to fight, he’s a gamer, you’d call him and he’s not a bad fighter either. I’m happy with the opponent, I don’t actually care. I accepted this show, it was me and Chandler so oh again I don’t it doesn’t bother me.”

Another interesting moment of the interview was when McGregor talked about training while coaching at TUF. The interviewer asked him how he managed to train and coach fighters at the same time. McGregor quickly responded by saying that he was sparring side by side with contestants, but not with them. Moreover, McGregor revealed that he had his own sparring partner with him, who was also a strong wrestler.
“I didn’t want to spar with contestants, there’s no need for that. I brought in a good solid wrestler and he’s a good solid fighter also he’s an NCAA Champion Division One, so I’ve been sparring with him.”
