Colby Covington has been an absolute force in the UFC ever since he made his debut in 2014. The fighter has always been exceptional in the octagon. But during his initial years in the promotion, he didn’t have the excitement he does right now. In fact, the UFC was going to cut him from the roster until he started his notorious trash talking. Covington believes his incident in Brazil saved his career as a fighter.
Colby still continues to be a proper trash talker, and that’s how he’s gained his popularity. Unlike many others who trash talk outside the octagon, Covington actually has the skill level to demolish some of the best fighters inside the octagon. He certainly does live up to his nickname, ‘Chaos.’
Recently Covington appeared in an interview with Submission Radio and spoke about a variety of topics. One of the subjects of discussion was Covington’s former friend, Jorge Masvidal.

The interviewer asked Colby Covington about a possible bout with Jorge Masvidal. To that, he said, “You know Colby Covington incorporated is open to do business. And you know I want to do the best business for the UFC and whatever they want me to do.”
He added,” I think we know what the fans want. I know what fight I want, you know. It’s a personal fight that needs to happen. Especially with the way the guy talked reckless in the media about me, said this, said that. You know, said all these things. Tries to claim to be some badass street fighter from Miami. So you know that fight makes sense.”
In his interview with Submission Radio, ‘Chaos’ not only targeted Masvidal, but he also took shots at Dustin Poirier and Khamzat Chimaev.
