While White has several important UFC fights and Power Slap events demanding his attention, he is dead serious about Musk vs. Zuck as well.

Dana White recently made an appearance at the post-match press conference for Power Slap 3. The UFC head honcho revealed the numbers for the event, adding that it was doing exceptionally well in India and other countries. While attending to these queries, White also got a question about Elon Musk’s mother being against the bout. The UFC lynchpin kept his answer short and to the point, highlighting his resolve.

At the Power Slap 3 post-match press conference, Dana White was asked about the legitimacy of Musk vs. ‘Zuck.’ The media member highlighted how Musk’s mother was openly against her son fighting the Meta CEO.

He asked White if the fight was real. The UFC boss responded, “It’s very real.” He reiterated the same to double down on the fight.

For those unaware, Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, had expressed her reluctance about the whole idea a few days ago. Responding to a tweet from Lex Fridman highlighting Musk’s training session with him, the 75-year-old wrote, “Sorry, I can’t click a like on this.”

In another tweet, she made a suggestion to her son, saying, “A verbal fight only. Three questions each. The funniest answers win. Who agrees?”

Interestingly enough, Musk’s mother is not the only one disagreeing with the idea. His father, Errol Musk, also spoke up against the idea, saying his son is in a lose-lose situation. Musk Sr. said, “The thing is if this crazy fight goes ahead, if Elon beats this guy, Elon will be called a bully, being so much heavier and taller, while if he loses, the humiliation would be total. It’s a no-win situation for Elon.”
