In episode #1880 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan told his guest Tulsi Gabbard about an intriguing incident. According to Rogan, a school where his friend’s wife worked installed litter boxes for one student. The story went viral on social media, but Rogan later clarified that the incident did not have proof.
Joe Rogan explained why he fed into the litter box story
In JRE episode #1888 with guest Michael Shermer, Joe Rogan came clean about his litter box story. He stated he could not verify the incident after people claimed the story was false. Rogan said that his friend’s wife no longer worked at that school. He also added they could not get a response from the school, either.

The millionaire host of JRE also revealed why he believed that story to begin with. It had to do with a similar incident that Rogan experienced firsthand. The incident, Rogan claimed, happened about 10 years ago when he was in Pittsburgh for a UFC event.

“So we check into the hotel, the hotel — the guy was working, the front desk was saying how crazy it was that these folks were asking for their food to be delivered in bowls on the ground so they could eat it like animals… “And I’m like, ‘That is crazy.’ And then he said they asked for a litter box in the lobby.”
It’s no surprise that Rogan believed the school litter box story after personally encountering a similar situation. The BJJ black belt was recently on commentary duty at UFC 281. He gave his thoughts on the stoppage of the Adesanya vs. Pereira fight as well.

Rogan on Adesanya losing to Pereira
Israel Adesanya lost his middleweight title to rival Alex Pereira last Saturday at UFC 281. ‘Stylebender’ was leading 3-1 on scorecards going into the final round. However, Pereira stunned him and found a TKO finish toward the end of the fifth round.
Several fans and pros argued that the referee should have given more time to Adesanya. Meanwhile, Joe Rogan believed it was a fair stoppage. He said, “He (Adesanya) was gone. His game was gone. I can understand from his perspective- ‘he (Mark Goddard) stopped it too soon, I was still conscious. But when he was doing this… with his head down, open for a kick, open for a knee. He was gone.”
