The 33-year-old currently has one dog, a rottweiler named Toothless. His loyal companion has stood by him through thick and thin, and that’s one reason the UFC champion adores him. Sharing moments of exhilaration and also turmoil together, the MMA fighter has also been subjected to negative comments due to his conduct with his dog. However, this time, he bowed to his trusted friend’s demand.

Israel Adesanya shares a John Wick moment with his dog
The middleweight lynchpin turned to his Instagram handle and shared some pleasant visuals involving Toothless. He shared the clip of him going on an evening walk with Toothless and had an amusing caption in store. The Auckland native called himself ‘John Wick’, a fictional character played by Keanu Reeves.

Milli joined the 24-2 record holder’s family as a puppy. Adesanya chose the name for good luck, and also as an optimistic sign of the positive future he wanted for himself and his family. The good luck indeed followed the UFC champion as carved out a reputation for himself in the MMA world. However, Milli also became the reason the MMA fighter received backlash from the fans for one bizarre incident.
Adesanya attracted the fans’ wrath when an old video of him inappropriately touching his dog went viral recently. The video evoked disgust among the fans and it also made rounds in the fighters’ community. Sean Strickland questioned the symbolism he carried as a champion and narrated the incident to Joe Rogan.
