UFC 281 could easily go down as having one of the most entertaining cards of all time. Moreover, for the event to take place in Madison Square Garden, were just extra cherries on top. The card saw 11 finishes out of the 14 total fights that took place.

Meanwhile, the main card saw fighters like Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya go against each other. However, it was Renato Moicano who stole the show. From his performance inside the Octagon to his post-fight interview, everything stood out perfectly for the Brazilian.

Recently, it has also been announced that the fighter has broken into the UFC lightweight rankings. Moreover, he has ranked ahead of Conor McGregor on the list.

Renato Moicano debuts UFC lightweight rankings

A Twitter post recently revealed that the Brazilian has debuted in the UFC lightweight rankings and he has replaced Grant Dawson. Moicano is currently sitting at no. 13. However, what’s more surprising is that he’s ahead of the former champ, Conor McGregor, and interim champ, Tony Ferguson.

The post said, “Renato “Money” Moicano (@moicanoufc) gets his wish, debuts at No. 13 in the latest UFC lightweight rankings. Recently added Grant Dawson slides off the list to make room for the addition. Conor McGregor is now No. 14, and Tony Ferguson is No. 15.”
