Alexander Volkanovski Warns Islam Makhachev To Not Use Khabib Situation “As an Excuse”

Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s absence in Islam Makhachev‘s corner during his fight against Alexander Volkanovski will leave a noticeable void, but Makhachev is ready to fill it. Something which he hasn’t been able to do for quite a long time being a coach. “When you retire, you want to spend more time with your family. For example, 2022 he spent just two months at home with his family, but all the other time he traveled a lot. That’s why he wants to spend more time with his family.”

Lastly, Makhachev said, “He gave me good support for this fight. We talked about this fight. He gave me the plan. I have to fight. That’s why we will see.”
