Khamzat Chimaev was talking to TNT Sports backstage at the UFC Fight Night 224, which took place in London. Chimaev was asked about his next fight with the Brazilian fighter during the interview. Chimaev said, “Good feels good. I’m gonna make that guy cry, you know, in the cage. Yeah, like I always do. ‘Borz’ was highly confident about destroying Costa in the upcoming bout. In the further conversation, he also mentioned how every fighter is scared to fight him. Chimaev stated that he was ready to fight anybody at both welterweight and middleweight. However, some fighters withdraw from fighting against him, as they consider the Swedish fighter a dangerous opponent.

In the same interview, Chimaev stated that he had great plans for his fighting career, which include belts in three divisions. If given enough time and significant money, ‘Borz’ is ready to make up the weight to fight against any strong opponent. He also added that he has an eye on UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, as a bout with ‘Stylebender’ means a title shot.
