Mark Coleman recently made headlines after he saved his family, especially his parents from a raging fire. That’s right, Coleman was awakened in the middle of the night and realized that his Ohio home had caught fire. In trying to save his beloved dog, Hammer, Coleman got himself gravely hurt.

He had to be flown out and into a hospital where doctors kept a close watch on his condition. Thankfully, after a few days of treatment, Coleman recovered and his daughter Kenzie Coleman began giving the fans updates from her father. Now, after a few days of joy, concerning news has taken over once again.

Mark Coleman gets admitted into the hospital again

Mark Coleman was recently released from the hospital because it looked like his condition was getting better. However, once he and his family were in their Columbus home, things started taking a bad turn. It must’ve barely been an hour when he started experiencing pain once again.

“Yesterday my dad was released from st vincents in Toledo where they thought he was stable enough to go home,” Kenzie Coleman wrote from her dad’s Instagram account. “We were only home for about an hour in Columbus when he started to have numbness in his arms and chest pain. Of course my sister and I rushed him back to the hospital where we found out he has now developed pneumonia.”

She told the fans that their prayers and efforts were much appreciated and that Coleman was still his fiery self as he got back into the hospital. Further updates are awaited on the UFC Hall-of-Famer’s condition. In the meantime, a GoFundMe campaign by the family is up to help Coleman pay the bills.

Unfortunately for him, while his family members survived and came out well, he wasn’t able to save Hammer, the beloved family dog. In a recent video shared by Kenzie Coleman, the former UFC fighter can be seen breaking down over the incident.

Mark Coleman has received a lot of support, both financially and emotionally over the past few days after the incident took the headlines. Professional fighters like Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev joined in to show their love and support for Coleman.

After days of treatment, he did recover and began speaking and breathing on his own. In more recent videos, he could be seen very conscious and back to being his normal self. On his Instagram account, he’d thank the fans and also remind them of his sobriety which has helped him make great improvements in himself.

Now, perhaps fans and fighters can pitch in for his gofundme campaign after the pneumonia diagnosis. Watch this space as further updates pour in from Kenzie Coleman.
