The Marshall Rogan Inu cryptocurrency, inspired by Joe Rogan and named after Rogan’s dog Marshall, has helped many MMA fighters. UFC fighter Ian Heinisch was one of the beneficiaries who shared the role of the MRI in his treatment.
The middleweight fighter reached out to the MRI community for help. The fighter required $25,000 for a stem-cell procedure in Mexico to battle his concussion symptoms.

MMA legend Chael Sonnen provided the update about Heinisch on his official YouTube channel. Also, Sonnen acknowledged Marshall Rogan Inu for stepping up for the fighter’s needs.
Even Front Office Sports got the words from Heinisch, “I wasn’t able to afford the stem-cell treatment.” The fighter added, “I hadn’t fought in a year. I had to pull out of a fight against Sam Alvey.”
Following the footsteps of other meme coins, MRI started to get the attention of MMA figure Joe Rogan. However, it is growing into a community/project that is helping the MMA fighters struggling to pay their medicals. Thus, many big names are attaching themselves to the cause and helping the community to grow, in order for it, to fund more fighters.

Initially, it gave an impression of some attention-seeking project. However, MRI has already funded around $800K to over 200 MMA fighters.

Also, the meme coin is changing its name/logo to Marshall Inu from Marshall Rogan Inu as suggested by FOS’s senior reporter A.J. Perez in a recent post.
Not sure if Rogan or his reps applied any pressure on the developers to make the change. A source close to Rogan told me that he's been trying to figure out for days how to handle this meme coin given the use of his name and dog's likeness.
