Rakhmonov was the undefeated rising contender in the welterweight division. Chandler’s training with him highlights the fact that he is dialed in for his fight against McGregor. Conor Mcgregor and Michael Chandler featured on ‘ The Ultimate Fighter’ show as opponent coaches. Both fighters had a lot of arguments during the show which resulted in them wanting a fight against each other. According to the reports, both fighters agreed to fight each other at the end of 2023. The fight did not materialize because McGregor was not enrolled under the USADA. According to the rules of USADA, the fighter needs to be tested for at least six months before his competition. MMA Orbit shared this picture on their Twitter account.

McGregor was last seen in the ring at UFC 264, where he fought against Dustin Poirier. During his fight, he suffered a massive leg injury and broke his ankle. Now the ‘ Notorious One’ is all set for a comeback and is eyeing the UFC 300 for his comeback. McGregor’s willingness to fight against Chandler highlights the fact that we might see a comeback match between the two.
