The UFC 284 co-main eventers, Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett, got involved in unwanted stuff even after their UFC 284 bout. In the bout, Rodriguez finished off Emmett with a triangle choke in the second round.

But the Mexican, along with his American opponent, Emmett, was subjected to a 180-day suspension. The Combat Sports Authority of Western Australia recently publicized their list of UFC 284 athletes receiving medical suspension.

Both Rodriguez and Emmett were included among the five UFC 284 athletes who had been subjected to a 180-day ban.
Islam Makhachev gave out hints of retirement alike Khabib Nurmagomedov
The incredibly close relationship that Islam Makhachev shares with his stablemate mentor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is a known fact to UFC fans. But Makhachev’s recent statement had the fans startled when they believed that it might be an indication of his retirement.
Recently, in one of his interviews with the UFC Russia channel, the UFC Lightweight champ narrated his mother’s words. He described that his mother “doesn’t watch fights, not just my fights – fights in general. She doesn’t like seeing people hit each other”.

He also revealed how his mother had preached him to retire from fighting. Quoting his mother, Makhachev stated, “You’re a champion now. Wrap it up. Khabib listened to his mother. When will you listen to yours?” A lot of fans might agree that these sorts of words coming from a mother would definitely propel every son to contemplate.

However, Makhachev didn’t provide any more clarification about if and when he was going to grant his mother’s wish.
Mike Tyson had a short statement for the Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury bout
The coveted special rules bout between the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, and the noted 4-promotion boxing champ, Tyson Fury, was creating massive headlines recently. So much so, that the noted boxing veteran, Mike Tyson, also presented his opinion with a pretty short statement.

In a video published on the YouTube channel of TMZ sports, Tyson gave out two short 3-word statements while he was asked about the coveted contest. Tyson stated, “Anything is possible”. He also gave out one more reaction related to this topic as he stated, “You never know”, to the TMZ questioner.

It seems that Tyson was well aware of the strengths of the combatants, which made him refrain from making a proper prediction.
