The past 24 hours in the world of MMA have been quite eventful, like usual. From the reignition of the coveted rivalry between the UFC Welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington, to ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley’s revelation. The previous day also packed quite a few newsworthy incidents. It also brings a new MMA news roundup.

There seems to be a lot going on with Masvidal and his final resolve for his friend-turned-foe Colby Covington. Further, the noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan had some things to say about the usage of IVs. Lastly, the UFC Bantamweight Sean O’Malley desires to join the noted UFC icon, Conor McGregor’s camp.

Masvidal intends to legally murder Colby Covington prior to his UFC retirement

The famed UFC Welterweight Jorge Masvidal recently made another appearance on the coveted ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. ‘Gamebred’ also talked to ‘the UFC color commentator’ about a variety of topics, including a few words about his infamous rivalry with Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington. Avid UFC fans might already know about the bad blood between these best friends-turned worst enemies.

At the UFC 272, Masvidal failed to get the better of Covington, which apparently fanned the flames inside his mind. Talking to Rogan about their rivalry, Masvidal stated at one point, “I didn’t get him that time (at UFC 272), but I promise you: Before my career’s over, I’m gonna f*cking murder Colby in the cage. Legally”.

Masvidal ended his threat, stating, “I’m gonna f*cking snatch his soul one way or another”. Well, if the killing part is left aside, most fans would agree that this bout would be one hell of an enthraller. What are your thoughts?

Joe Rogan gives out his views on the usage of IVs in the UFC

The last episode of ‘JRE’ contained a lot of notable discussions between ‘Gamebred’ and ‘the former martial artist’, Rogan. At a point, the duo talked extensively about the usage of IVs and PEDs in the UFC. Rogan also gave out his take specifically on the rules of IV usage in the UFC.

‘The BMF’ of the UFC started the discussion about this topic, stating how the USADA plagued him for tests at different times of the day. Rogan also included the topic of IVs in the discussion as he stated, “I think it’s good that the UFC did something[about testing], but I think, ultimately, what they did is a little bit of overkill. And it just like, particularly the IV’s for rehydration. I just don’t- I know that they’re saying that it can mask performance-enhancing drugs”.

He continued, “Test them before they get an IV. This way is to test. Like, it’s healthier for the fighter that has an IV.” A lot of fans might actually agree with Rogan’s views in this regard.

Sean O’Malley expressed his desire to join Conor McGregor’s camp

Recently, the UFC icon, Conor McGregor displayed his affinity towards social media once more. ‘Mystic Mac’ took to Twitter once more and announced that he will be arranging a “camp in big bear” recently.

McGregor’s tweet garnered numerous reactions from the fans alongwith the noted UFC Bantamweight, Sean O’Malley, as well. ‘Sugar’ expressed his intention to join McGregor’s “big bear” camp as he replied, “Can I come”.

However, McGregor didn’t provide his affirmation about ‘Sugar’s’ request.
