Aljamain Sterling provided hints towards moving up to Featherweight

Aljamain Sterling was evidently impressed by the superb performance showcased by the UFC featherweight star Jack Shore. The ‘Welsh fighter’ submitted his opponent, Makwan Amirkhani, in the second round with a rear naked choke. It was also his first fight at featherweight. The UFC bantamweight king also put out a tweet appreciating Shore’s superb performance.

However, some might view this tweet as an indication of Sterling’s potential move to featherweight as well. After the UFC Fight Night 221 victory of his dear friend and division mate, Merab Dvalishvili, ‘The Machine’ stood in line as his next opponent for a shot at the bantamweight Gold. But Dvalishvili refused to take up the title shot, which required him to fight his friend.
