Conor McGregor provided a befitting reply to Beneil Dariush

Conor McGregor’s feud with USADA regarding the number of tests he would be subjected to caught quite a few eyes. The noted UFC Lightweight, Beneil Dariush also couldn’t help offering his opinion about the issue. However, it was evident in his opinion that he wasn’t on McGregor’s side.

The #4 ranked UFC Lightweight revealed his opinions in an interview with ‘The Schmo’. He accused McGregor of using prohibited substances during his time-out from the UFC. Dariush also labeled McGregor as a “cheater”.

However, most UFC fans know that McGregor isn’t a person to have all of this silently. ‘The Irishman’ lived up to his reputation as he took to Twitter and fired a now-deleted tweet at Dariush. McGregor wrote, “beneil “the douche” dariush”.

A lot of fans might see the start of a feud along with these back-and-forth verbal altercations between the two. However, it may fade out as well. But can there be a possible matchup between these two?

Sean O’Malley refused to be a backup for the UFC 288 main eventers

The noted UFC Bantamweight Sean O’Malley didn’t agree to be a reserve. A Flyweight bout between the current king Aljamain Sterling and the former UFC champ-champ, Henry Cejudo, had been scheduled as the main event of the UFC 288. But, to avoid the cancelation of the bout due to a possible pullout, O’Malley was elected as the reserve fighter.

However, O’Malley recently gave out his opinion about this issue. ‘Sugar’ recently talked to ‘MMA Fighting’ where he refused the offer of serving as the reserve fighter for the UFC 288 main event. O’Malley stated, “I was really planning on being backup for Henry-Aljo. But now I’m to the point where I’m like, f*** that. If one of those dorks pull out, reschedule it.”

O’Malley also had his own reason for his denial. He stated, “Knowing you’re probably not going to fight, I can’t train the same way. And I don’t feel like I’m in a position where I’m like, ‘Well, it’s my only opportunity, I need to be a backup’”.

Gilbert Burns was discontented with Colby Covington getting the next Welterweight title shot

The noted UFC Welterweight, Gilbert Burns, wasn’t a bit happy about his fellow divisional colleague, Colby Covington, getting a shot at the UFC Welterweight gold. ‘Durinho’ recently spoke out about how he felt there were more well-deserving contenders in the division eligible for a title shot. He was also clueless why the UFC authorities were granting this opportunity to ‘Chaos’.
